i figured it's probably way past time i finally post this as finished. lol.
here is my entry for the build off. started on sept 29, 2014 and completed dec 21, 2014. you can see the build thread here.
specs: system - sega nomad (to have smallest fully compatible board) batteries - 2 3.7v li-ion 5400 mAh (7 hours 15 min battery life - currently low battery led comes on with only about 2 min warning) case - frankencased radioshack ABS case, lp-55p & nomad housing screen - 4” lcd controller - nes d pad (ha!) & original nomad random tidbits - white power led, red led low battery indicator, headphone jack, a/v out, player 2 port
weight of system - 1 lbs 11.2 ounces thickness - 2 1/2" height - 4 13/16" (standard game does not add any height) width - 6 13/16
vs nomad: nomad weight - (still trying to find this out) nomad thickness with no battery - 2” nomad weight with 6 aa battery pack - (still trying to find this out) nomad thickness with 6 aa battery pack - 3” (note, the rechargeable battery pack is even thicker) nomad height - 4 1/4” nomad height with standard game in - 5 3/8” nomad width - 7 7/8”

lol. i actually stated the wrong color. orange will be 2600. i meant yellow. which will be n64. as, ya know, the 4 colors associated with n64 are red, blue, green, yellow. and i can't use red, blue or green again. lol
