Welcome to our one stop shop for games, discussion, mods and more! Why not take a minute to introduce yourself to our community, pictures, info an more are all welcome;
I'm DT99, I'm one of the administrators here for Bit Fix. I'm not huge into the modding scene, but I have played video games for 27 years, and have reviewed them for the last 15. I've been published on several web sites, and i'm currently working on a new review project which incorporates social media. I also manage lovablechevy's ebay shop and much more.
I currently own an xbox 360 and many other consoles, my favourite of all time being the Sega Saturn. I can't get enough of the Panzer Dragoon Series. I like FPS, racing, RTS and love a good RPG.
Currently playing: American McGee's Alice Defiance Red Faction Guerrilla Warfare. Viva Pinata TIP (Don't judge me, i like farm games ) Replaying through all the Tomb Raider Series from PS1 through to the latest release. Morrowind Skyrim Dungeon Keeper I

as my signature says, i'm the queen of bondo, tho, i should possibly be called the queen of epoxy putty. and possibly even the queen of abs.
i'm lovablechevy and one of the administrators here for bit fix. i've been modding consoles since 2008. my favorite project i've completed is my HandyNES (one of the smallest 100% original hardware nes portables). i was an active member of the ben heckendorn forums back in its heyday.
music has always been a huge part of my life. i have a music education degree (i just hated teaching). i am somewhat versed in how to play pretty much any instrument. my main instruments are baritone horn and trombone. i love the guitar, but don't have a very good one at the time being. i can do pretty much anything from vocal to any instrument.
i've been playing video games since i was 2 (2600 ftw!). that puts me at 29 years of gaming. i love video games. period. if it plays video games, give me a controller and i'm good to go. i currently have 15 different consoles hooked up and ready to be used. they vary from the atari 2600 all the way up to an xbox 360. my all time favorite system is the snes, because i LOVE 16 bit rpgs.
i love rpgs, strategy, and open sandbox games. tho i'm generally open to any type of game. tho, i'm really not a big fan of sports games. unless it's nba jam. cuz that is a fun game!
I like to go by the handle fibbef largely because it's not based on anything else and means absolutely nothing. That way if my interests change, my name still remains relevant - because it's always irrelevant!
I've always had a keen interest in building, figuring out how things work, and a curiosity toward electronics. When I discovered the console portablizing community, I knew I had found a new home. My first mod was replacing the red power LED in a Game Boy DMG with a blue LED. My first big project was a portable Nintendo 64 which I started in 2011 and, at the time of this post entry, remains unfinished.
Other topics that hold my interest are video production (though for some reason I don't have a very large YouTube presence) and performing arts. I love music, so feel free to chat me up if you want to talk about guitar strings or oboe reeds or whatever! My collection includes 1 acoustic and 3 electric guitars, 2 trumpets, a cornet, clarinet, piano, trombone, alto euphonium, ukulele, and a cheapo violin.
On the gaming side, I'll play just about anything that has an endgame. I like to know when I've experienced a game from beginning to end and the credits have rolled, sidequests optional. For that reason I'm not a big fan of sports games and sims. I have somewhere in the realm of 20 consoles, close to 800 games (can get more accurate counts for those who must know), and at least one of every model of Game Boy created.

Hey all, I am fibbef's sister. I don't mod or anything like that, I just game on Steam. My go to game is L4D2. I have a group of friends that like to play it together and goof around. We do sometimes play other coop games, like Orion: Dino Horde, Tomb Raider, Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 1 & 2 as well as others, but I'm currently drawing a blank to the rest. I have a fussy baby in my arms and a 3 year old next to me so it's a bit hard to remember anything at the moment. :-) Feel free to add me on Steam (Crazy Girl With A Gun) if you want to play coop sometime, but make sure you let me know if you do because I normally ignore random adds. I don't play quite as often anymore since I recently had another child, but I definitely find time on weekends! Btw I'm not really crazy, although there's probably a person or two out there that may say differently, just ignore them. ;-)
Welcome Wolf Good to see another Fiero Lover <3 yeah mine still needs some work but its in storage right now. Here in the netherlands if your in Oldtimers insurance your car is not allowed on public roads from 1 Dec - 1 March... which kinda sucks but normal insurance is ALOT more expensive

Well, I am new to modding and just finished my first ever portable! My favorite console is the N64 because its what I grew up with, but I love the SNES almost just as much. I have some really cool secret ideas for portables that I would love to make reality, but since they are secrets, I can't tell you what they are! I've been on this sight for a little while now, and was a member of bacman's forum for several years. I hope to continue to be an active member of this forum as I enjoy the community here!
Like a wise man once said, "I am a very wise man."
Hello! I'm gman! I'm a senior in high school, modding is my favorite past time which basically consumes my life. I also enjoy music, I play drumset and guitar. I am the drummer in a rock band too, which we recently placed 2nd at battle of the bands I'm very experienced building portables, specifically gamecube and n64, but I've also done a bit of work with ps2, wii, and other consoles. tbh, recently I've gotten slightly bored from building similar projects again and again so I'm trying to branch out and build some new things. This past year, I've built/refurbished 2 guitars, made a sick custom cd player, an analog synthesizer, built 2 3d printers, and much more. Changing up my projects keeps things more interesting for me, and surely challenges me when I try something new. My main project I'm working on right now is a large modular synthesizer. I've never done anything like this before so it is very challenging and has been a lot of fun so far.
I also have a passion for cars. I drive a 1999 ford ranger xlt. I got it for a great price and even though it is almost as old as me, it only has about 97,000 miles on it now and the body has no deep scratches on it and runs well too. A new 1999 ford ranger is rated for about 18mpg, mine is 16 years old and gets about 20mpg consistently Well I guess I drive pretty slow too which helps.
Variety is the spice of life! Good that you can find ways to keep modding interesting for yourself. Glad to have you here, gman! I'd love to see those guitars you refurbed - I started a guitar collection thread not too long ago just for that.
